Foto Friday: Mees Was HereHere's the Mees Solar Observatory playing "Kilroy was here".
It looks kind of like a moon rising. That was one of those mornings where it certainly would have been worth it to get up at oh-dark-30, bundle up, and drive 90 minutes to the watch the sun rise on Haleakala. Unfortunately, it's hard to know in advance which mornings those are going to be. It's getting harder to find a picture I haven't already posted! I need to scan in some non-Hawaii.
